Carrie's Story

Today we feature Carrie and her cancer story.  Carrie was diagnosed with Breast Cancer a few years ago.   In today's photo she receives prayer and the laying on of hands and anointing with oil for healing from her Southern California Support Group where she is loved, prayed for and highly regarded for her deep faith and spiritual insight.  Carrie is also a member of our Monday Zoom Support Group.  

Carrie has known both the rigors and hardships of Breast Cancer.  She is now in Stage 4 of the disease yet she continues moving steadily forward, trusting the Lord with her very life.  Lately, she has reflected on a passage from Revelation 2:17 which says, "To the one who overcomes ... I will give a white stone with a new name engraved on the stone and no one knows that name except the one who receives it ..."  She says, "A stone with my new name!!  What can it be?  I cannot imagine ... so it will be kept for me as a secret and fill my heart with joy when revealed on that day!"
